The Professional Edge Toastmasters Club held its initial meeting in March 2008 and, with the fine efforts of a core of original members, was able to charter by the end of May 2008, and currently is a flourishing club.

We meet monthly on the second Wednesday of each month at the Peninsula.  It is a beautiful facility with a theatre like arrangement.

“Professional Edge Toastmasters Club is designed for experienced, motivated individuals who already have advanced speaking skills.  We cater to both professional and non-professional speakers who want to work together with their peers to hone their skills, enhance their speaking experience, and become their best on the platform.  A unique benefit of our club is the opportunity for high level, intensive evaluation feedback from recognized champions and senior leaders in Toastmasters (e.g., DTMs, District/ Division/Area Directors and Club Executive Officers).”

Members of the Professional Edge Toastmasters Club are respected members of Toastmasters International;  they are committed to developing performance and leadership skills and modelling exemplary levels of conduct re Toastmaster protocols and  expectations.

The emphasis is on prepared speeches and  “intensive evaluations”.  These evaluations involve the usual individual evaluation, plus additional comments from other members.  Added to this, each speaker receives a written evaluation from all members present.  The quality of speeches and the intensive evaluations make for an exciting, productive meeting every month.

We welcome new members and guests.  If you are interested in visiting or joining our club, please let us know and you will be most welcome to attend a meeting.

We are offering something a little different from the regular club meetings and we can guarantee you lots of learning, energy and fun at each meeting.  If you want to take your speaking experience to whole new level, check us out!
